KT1- Concentrator Manager
KT1 is a card, built on Echelon processor Neuron
3150. It is designated to implement communication management of
LonWorks networks. As a result, the reaction time of the system
becomes optimized and determined. KT1 works together with its
back-up partner- identical device, working as a listening to the
master and monitoring for its proper function. They have a special
purpose interface, which assures reliable signal exchange. .
Should the monitoring manager discover a failure
of the active one, it takes over the management and bumplessly
continues the management.
The Managers handle dual media connection of
the upper level network.
It handles all the available communication transceivers:
TPT/XF-78, TPT/XF-1250, FTT-10A and LTC491.
