Control System for SEBIM Pilot-Operated Safety Valves for Zaporozye NPP, Units 1 to 6 (NT A 387/04)

Technology based product.

New Control System for Steam Generator Safety Valves development was launched on 23 March 2005. DICS Intertrade has started the three-year contract as sub-supplier to the Main Supplier WEIR FRANCE (SEBIM). The object of supply is 48 Steam Generator Safety Valves Systems to six nuclear units for Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, Ukraine. The delivery and installing had been stretched in three years. The Warranty service lasts till 2010.

GARDIA 6 is based on the reach experience for development and applying similar systems to Nuclear Power Plants such as KOLA and Novovoronezh NPP, Russia. Since the first installation in KOLA NPP - 1998 till now the systems have not had a single failure.

The GARDIA 6 systems have already an extended self diagnostic and intensive diagnostic to the connected sensors and actuators. The systems have been developed again on the basis of LonWorks technology of ECHELON Company, USA, which had proven to be robust, flexible and economically efficient. The systems tolerate single failure and allow replacement of failed module online.

The system is designed and accomplished to be seismic, vibration, Electromagnetic interference resistant, according to the standards for Nuclear Applications safety 1E class.
