Configuring Unit - SPDS1
Purpose
The Configuring Unit is a processor based system
with a keyboard and a display using liquid crystal technology.
Its purpose is to read the current values of the quantities from
the modules, control and enter the constants.
The module consists of processor, keyboard and
display. DC/DC converter which transforms +24VDC into +5VDC provides
the supply.
The processor contents processor module TP-XF
78F based on the LON WORKS technology. The module has the ability
to communicate serially with the modules from the data system,
averaging 78 kbit/sec. Besides it processes the information which
is brought in from the keyboard, and shows messages on the display.
