PROGRAMMABLE CONTROLLER  

It is intended for intensive analogue signals processing and control loops implementation.

Includes :    

1. MAIN PROCESSOR Module - 1.  
2. ANALOG PROCESSOR Module - 1.   
3. POWER SUPPLY Module - 1.   
4. CARRIER Module - 4.   
5. ANALOG INPUT Module ( single channel) - 32 Max.   
6. ANALOG OUTPUT Module( single channel)- 32 Max. 

A. MAIN PROCESSOR Module includes :    
• Microprocessor 8344;
• RAM for logic programming - 16KB;
• RAM for variable data - 4KB;
• RAM for constant data - 4KB - it can be substituted with EPROM;
• EPROM for FIRMWARE;
• Discrete logic;
• Diagnostic circuits;
• Indicators.   

The MAIN PROCESSOR executes the sequential logic, loop processing, special functions, diagnostic
routines and communications. It communicates with RS485 compatible units through two identical
ports at 2400, 375 or 62.5Kbaud up to distance 1200 m. A battery provides a backup for all RAM
systems. It is an advanced switching regulator design.
An input line filter insures high noise immunity to transients. 
 
B. ANALOGUE PROCESSOR Module includes:  
 
• Microprocessor 8051; 
• RAM - for operating purpose;
• EPROM - for FIRMWARE;
• ADC & DAC; 
• Discrete logic. 
  
The ANALOGUE PROCESSOR handles analogue to digital and digital to analogue conversion of
analogue data, translates data to and from MAIN PROCESSOR, and performs diagnostic routines of
the I/O modules.  

C. POWER SUPPLY Module provides:   
Two groups of:
•  5V, 3A; 
•  +12V, 1A;
•  - 12V, 1A;
•  24V, 1A.   

Power Supply requires 24 volts DC, +10/-15 %, 3A input voltage. It is an advanced switching regulator
design. An input line filter insures high noise immunity to transients.
